We're so glad you're considering being a guest at First Christian Church, and we want to make it easy and worry-free for you!  We offer 2 worship gathering times to fit your busy schedule.  There is plenty of parking, and we promise to take good care of your kids!  We hope you feel welcome and comfortable when you walk through our doors for the first time and here is plenty of information to help you do just that! 

 

Where do I park?

 

The main entrance to the church is a covered area for your convenience for dropping off and picking up.  There are designated guest and handicap parking spaces close to the main entrance.  If you have children (kindergarten through 5th grade) to settle into our children's programming before making your way to the worship gathering, they may be dropped off at Door 3 and checked in at the Kid's Welcome Center.  Younger children can be brought to the main entrance to be checked in our WeeKidz Ministry.  Our volunteer staff at both locations will help you check them in and then direct you to the worship center.

 

What do I wear?

 

You'll see suits and you'll see jeans and t-shirts.  There isn't a dress code at FCC.  We are not concerned about what you wear.  We just want you to enjoy your time with us.  Be comfortable and be yourself!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What do you offer for my children?

 

 

First Christian loves children and families!  We have plenty of room for your kids to experience the love of Christ in a way that makes sense to them.  The KidZone and WeeKidz volunteers are all trained and have passed professional background checks before serving in these ministries.

Our WeeKidz Ministry (birth - pre-school) is offered for you during all of our worship gathering times as well our Adult Bible Fellowship hour.  The WeeKidz Ministry is located just off the main foyer. The check in station is staffed with experienced and trained volunteers that can assist you and answer any questions regarding this exciting ministry!  We believe that it is never too early to tell our children about the love of God and that they can help tell His story to the world.

 KidZone programming (K-5th Grade) is offered during all worship times and our Adult Bible Fellowship hour.  Simply take your children to the KidZone entrance in our Family Life Center (Door 3) and our volunteer staff will help you check them in and answer any questions that you might have.  Your kids will be safe and in good hands with our top-notch KidZone staff and volunteer teams.

 Worship Uncoiled is an alternative worship gathering designed for our students and young adults (6th - 12th grades), and it is held in the church auditorium Sunday nights @ 6pm.  High energy worship, relevant messages and time with their peers help students to learn and grow in their relationship with Christ.

 

When are worship times?  And what are they like?

 

We have services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. in the Worship Center.  The music is led by our Worship Team and band.  The 8:30 a.m. service is upbeat traditional music with a newer song thrown in once in a while for flavor!  The 10:50 a.m. service is a contemporary service featuring music from today's Christian artists.

 

It is our practice to observe Communion each Lord’s Day.  The bread and juice remind us of the body and blood of Christ offered up for our sins on the cross.  We invite every Christian to join us in remembering Jesus by partaking of the bread and the cup as they are passed. 

 

Offering is also practiced out of obedience every Sunday morning and is a time set apart where we honor our commitment to the vision of the church and follow through with the Biblical mandate of the practice of giving our tithes and offerings.
